Berry Brothers and Rudd Wine Guide and Shop Rating
Berry Bros & Rudd really score with their website. I’m actually excited writing about them because they have a gorgeous website and get a lot of things right. After checking up a bit I found out that they are Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchant and actually began operations in the 17th century. They also are britain’s first online wine merchant, with their website coming online in 1994.

- Fun - .75 stars. Its a really fun website to go through.
- Quick & Easy Navigation - .75. a little unusual but good.
- Value for Money - (to be confirmed) .75 stars - overall, a really solid website. I do have to go check up against all other wine merchants.
- Information - 1 star. They have an amazing amount of valuable information - detailed wine guides, a decent blog, podcasts, videos - great, great effort.
- Quality - 1 star. really good quality.
Additonal Thoughts on Berry Brothers & Rudd: They have the option to buy wine futures (called en primeur). The website has got a wine shop look and feel on the webpage. The product pages have cellar notes - very, very helpful. They have a decent collection of spirits - a 7 on 10 in terms of range of spirits.
